Data Deletion — Devy Agency

Your right to delete your data

You have the right to request that Devy Agency deletes the personal data we hold about you. This applies to data collected through our website contact forms, and data stored in our CRM platform if you are or were a client.

We will process all deletion requests within 20 working days and confirm deletion by email. Some data may be retained where required by law (e.g. invoicing records under New Zealand tax law).

How to submit a request

Complete the form below

Fill in your name, email address, and the type of data you want deleted. The more detail you provide, the faster we can process your request.

We verify your identity

We'll send a confirmation email to the address you provide. You must click the link to confirm the request is from you.

We process and confirm

Within 20 working days we will delete your data from our systems and confirm by email. We'll also notify any sub-processors (e.g. Supabase) to delete your data.

Check your email for a confirmation link. We'll process your request within 20 working days and follow up with confirmation.

What gets deleted

On a full deletion request, we will remove or anonymise:

Your name, email address, and contact details from our database
Your CRM account and login credentials
Your brand profile and DNA card
Content created for you (captions, briefs, revision notes)
AI conversation history
Social media account connections and stored OAuth tokens
Cached analytics data
Meeting notes and strategy records

What we must retain

Certain data must be retained by law and cannot be deleted on request:

Invoice and billing records: retained for 7 years under New Zealand Inland Revenue requirements
Basic transaction records: required for Stripe/PayPal dispute resolution

Where we must retain data, we will anonymise all other fields and notify you of what is retained and why.

Meta / Facebook: Revoking Access

If you connected your Instagram or Facebook account to our platform, you can revoke Devy Agency's access directly via Facebook at any time, independently of this process:

Revoke access via Facebook Settings

Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, find "Devy Agency", and click Remove.

This immediately revokes our access to publish to your accounts and read your analytics. It does not automatically delete data already stored in our systems. Submit the deletion request form above to request that.
